  1. Format:
    – This charity tournament is a 2-day, 36-hole mixed scramble, stroke play event.
    – All teams must putt out, no gimmees allowed. Players can tap-in prior to their partner attempting their putt but the ball must be marked.
    – The tournament champions of each flight will be the teams with the lowest gross total score after both rounds.
    – Ties will broken based on the following:
    1) the low gross score for the second round. If the result is a tie,
    2) the low gross score for the back nine of round 2. If still tied,
    3) the low gross score for holes #10 to #15 of round 2. If still tied,
    4) the low gross score for holes #16 to #18 of round 2. If still tied,
    5) the low gross score for hole #18 of round 2. If still tied,
    6) the winner will be determined by coin toss.
  2. Tees:
    Women – Red tees
    Men – White tees
  3. Pace of play
    – Players are expected to keep up with the group in front of them.
    – Players are not expected to keep ahead of the group behind them.
    – If your group starts to fall behind, play ready golf until you have made up the gap (or time).
  4. Breach of the rules
    – Any decision regarding the rules must be agreed upon by all playing partners.
    – Any breach of the rules unless otherwise noted will result in a 2-stroke penalty.
  5. Doubt as to procedure: Rule 20.1c (3) – Provisional Ball
Whenever there is doubt as to which procedure to follow, follow rule 20.1c (3):
    – Before making your next stroke, announce to your playing partners which golf ball will count if the procedure is allowed by the rules committee. If the choice is not announced, the first golf ball will count by default.
    – Play a second golf ball.
    – Complete the hole using both golf balls.
    – Report the situation to the rules committee before handing in your scorecard, even if the score with both golf balls is the same.
  6. Preferred lie in effect (local rule)
    – You may mark, clean, and place (or move with a club) your ball within 1 club length.
    – Ball must not be placed any closer to the hole, and must between the tree lines (Tree-line to tree-line)
    – Ball must not be moved from one type of turf to another (rough to fairway, rough to fringe, or fringe to putting surface)
    – If your ball is in the trees or on another fairway, you must play your ball as it lies (subject to relief rules below).

  7. Relief
Whenever you take relief, mark the nearest point of relief before moving your ball.

    Abnormal conditions:
    – Nearest point of relief no closer to the hole can be taken for animal holes, ground under repair (cart paths, ruts, hardpan, uprooted trees) or temporary standing water. French drains are considered ground under repair, but taking relief from them is optional.

    Immovable objects:
    – Nearest point of relief may only be taken if the immovable object (hydro towers, ball washers, garbage cans) interferes with your stance or swing. No line-of-sight relief is allowed.

    Bunkers:
    – If rakes are present, players are asked to rake the bunker after hitting their shots.
    – If a ball lies in a hole, footprint or wet area it can be placed inside the bunker at the nearest point of relief no closer to the hole.
    – You can choose to take relief outside the bunker under a 1-stroke penalty. The ball must be placed on a line to the flag and through where the ball originally came to rest.
